I've always loved every Foreman grill I've had. This one is no exception. I wanted something with removable trays and something with a premium look and feel to it. This one doesn't disappoint, but I do have one gripe:
The left and right hinges are very loose (lots of play, which is especially noticeable when utilizing the raised lid feature. One side often gets stuck and the sides don't raise or lower together. The whole top lid essentially clangs around and feels a bit 'broken' until you realize it's just the extra play in the tracks (you have to lift the top evenly). It won't affect overall functionality much, it just makes it feel cheap in my opinion and could have been easily remedied from a manufacturing perspective. This Foreman still grilles like a champ, and the hinge feature makes it nice for thicker slabs of meat.
For anyone considering a Foreman, definitely opt for removable trays (makes cleaning a heck of a lot easier...unless you prefer the tinfoil method) and go for one size larger than you think you will need. Other than that, you can't go wrong with a Foreman. Now excuse me while I make some grilled buffalo chicken paninis :)
