Easy to Clean; Cooks Fast; Handy Timer,

The grill is wonderfully easy to clean with the removable surfaces. My old non-removable grill was a major pain to clean. The digital timer is very handy and easy to read. It would be nicer if it shut off the grill when the time expired. The instructions on grilling need updating - they say five minutes to cook a frozen hamburger but it takes eight to hit the correct temperature. The grill is certainly large enough to cook two steaks or pork chops. I'm glad I upgraded to this grill.

Ordered this product to replace a Foreman grill that I purchased less than 9 months ago. That first one had a much larger cooking area, but had numerous flaws. First and foremost was the fixed grill plates. Cleaning that thing quickly became a major hassle. That chore became even more exasperating after the supposed "non-stick" grill plates became VERY sticky after only a few months use. That is probably the main reason I purchased this replacement. It also produced an awful lot of heat that would leak into the kitchen area and add to the already high air temperature of a humid summer day in July. In addition, it was actually too large for my needs and took up way too much counter space.This new unit is smaller but still a decent size for handling 2 large steaks or chops at a time. Cleaning the removable grill plates is now a breeze and it doesn't seem to get overly hot like the previous model. I'm expecting the non-stick surface to last much longer since heavy scraping is no longer necessary during cleaning. The overall design is just superior to that first model. If you're looking to purchase a Foreman grill, don't make the mistake of getting a model with non-removable grill plates. You will regret it very quickly. The only quibble I have is the burnt electrical smell that the unit still produces after several uses now. That smell is typical of any new electrical appliance but it usually goes away after just a few uses. It doesn't affect the flavour of the food at all, but it's a little annoying. Other than that , I'm perfectly happy with this purchase. The price was very attractive compared to most retail stores. This was my first experience with ordering a product from Amazon. I placed the order online on a Tuesday afternoon and it was delivered to my door less than 48 hours later with free shipping via UPS. The product and the overall experience has been very positive and I give a hearty recommendation to both.

We purchased this grill to replace a Brevelle that went dead and then replaced with a second grill that went dead again. We really like the removable grills for easy cleaning. It heats quickly to a good high temperature and cooks fast. The bottom tends to cook quicker then the top so turning is still necessary. The outside of he grill is deceptively larger then the actual grilling surface. In other words this is a good grill for two people. The floating hinge works great for thicker items and the stand up on its end feature is great for storage. Overall a good value for he money.
