George's Cosmic Treasure Hunt is a mystery/adventure type of book. I like it because it creates lots of suspense, and that makes you want to read more and more. It's like it hypnotizes you, but in a good way. I like everything in the book - although I wish they met a real alien. That would be cool. If you liked the first book in this series, George's Secret Key to the Universe, you'll LOVE this one!! I really hope the Hawkings write more in the series!

Excellent book. My nine year-old son ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT. And he is notorious for losing interest in a story. I wish there were more like this.

We have a hard time getting our 9 year old to read anything but comics or other illustrated stories. But he loved "George's Secret Key to the Universe", though mostly we read it to him.He's reading "Cosmic Treasure Hunt" all on his own, and really can't put it down. Since I'm not reading it to him this time I can't tell you much about it, but 5 stars from my young reader.
