Product Description

As the snappy name suggests, the E-Z Saw is a breeze to use when it comes time to saw through the bones of big game animals. It's a remarkably efficient design. And it's a genuine comfort to use, owing to the co-mold of rigid thermoplastic and SoftGrip. The saw teeth are configured to reduce increase sawing efficiency by 1/3 as compared to traditional saws. That means less work, and that's always a good thing.

Nice Saw To Help Field Dress Deer Dec 17 2011
By Doug - Published on Amazon.com

I like to split the pelvis and brisket when I field dress deer. Instead of using a knife blade I wanted to find a saw for this purpose. While looking around Amazon, I found this saw and ordered it. Shortly afterward I shot a deer and got a chance to try it out. It worked very well, and made short work of the pelvis and breast bone. Much nicer than trying to use a knife, and with the purpose made tip, it was easy to use this saw without breaking the bladder or cutting other things that shouldn't be cut. I would recommend this saw for the purpose.

Awesome Saw Feb. 19 2013

By far one of the best field dressing tools out there. No, you do not "need" a saw to dress a deer but it sure makes it a lot easier and quicker. Saw fits well in hand, is extremely sharp out of the package, and is a heck of a lot smaller and lighter than a hack saw or bone saw. I've only used it on about 6 deer but it still cuts great. I would not go into the woods with out it.

not a bad saw July 23 2012

i bought this saw thinking it would be slightly larger than it is. it is 3.5 inch blade which i should have done the research before i bought it
the saw works great fr cutting through trees and small branches but i bought it for an elk saw. and it would not be able to remove the trophy antlers with the skull plate because its so small but oh well its a great saw anyway

Great little saw for field dressing of elk Nov. 5 2013

Small, light, inexpensive and practical. The double-cut serrations tore right through the breast and pelvic bones of a nice Rocky Mountain elk last month. First time I used a saw with a hook at the end, a good design that keeps the blade from pulling up through the bone.

Light and handy, a must for any deer hunter Dec 26 2012

I just used this handy little gem on a good size AZ mule deer.

This little baby cut right through not only the pelvic bone but it also separated the ribs with no problems. This makes field cleaning much easier.

It's light weight and compact size makes it perfect for packing it into the field.

Definitely a must have for your next deer hunt.
