Altough this is an older book, it is still a valuable resource. I know Christiana personally, and she is a dedicated researcher. Her work in the world of old dolls has been important to all of us who are interested in history, old dolls and the preservation of dolls. Since Christiana lives in Germany, she is at the heart of where dolls were made during the 1800's. Papier-mache dolls is an important aspect in the history of dolls and the research is well captured in this book.
