About the Author
Kathryn Lane is a freelance editor and writer. In addition to her work on the "Israel Reading and Social Studies Activity Book" for Crabtree, she has also contributed to a number of books in the Lands, Peoples, and Cultures series. Kathryn has a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies as well as a Publishing Certificate and has worked in educational publishing for three years. She has travelled extensively and hopes that, by feeding children's curiosity about people in other lands, she can promote open-mindedness and, perhaps, inspire a few readers to travel themselves.
