According to my 7-year old daughter, a connoisseur of Geronimo Stilton books, this is the best one yet. She loved everything about it. She says, "It's the best book in the world."

This is what my 8 yr old daughter had to say...
Geronimo Stilton hurries home from work early to get ready for his date with Petunia Pretty Paws, but then his day starts backfiring. First, when Geronimo Stilton walks out the door a pail of rotten fish rains down on his head so he is forced to go back inside and take a quick frozen shower and go back outside and try again. Unfortunately, a banana peel was left in front of Geronimo's door so he slips and splits his pants. How embarrassing! So once again he has to take another frozen shower and put on his evergreen suit. Finally, Geronimo gets into his new posh car he rented just for the occasion, but a dump truck comes by and dumps a whole lot of yucky mud into it! So once again Geronimo has to take ANOTHER frozen shower and throw on his jogging outfit. Just then,Geronimo gets a call from his private investigator friend saying, ''Can you help me with a Cheesecake Mystery"? ''Okay", Geronimo agreed. Will they be able to solve the mystery of Chocolate Cheesecake in time? Can they do it? To find out read Geronimo's Valentine.
---------------
I really like this series because it is a really long one, it's so long you think the line of books will never end. I also liked the series because it is full of action and adventure. Geronimo is such a fun character and the books are full of great humor. The text is pretty large print and there are a few exaggerated large colorful words on each page. I never knew what was going to happen next. It is a really easy, quick read and only took me a couple hours to get through. Once I finished I read it 3 more times it was that good! The book is rated for kids 9 to 12, but I think that it is better suited for kids 7 to 10

My child loves all of these 'Geronimo Stilton' books. He found them in the school's library and now I am buying the rest of the series from Amazon, as we are living in South Africa and we couldn't find them in the books shops. I think they are very educational and I enjoy reading them.
