I recently read "The Mystery in Venice". The setting starts out at Geronimo's house and then to the flee market and then finally in Venice. The main characters are Geronimo Stilton, Thea Stilton, Trap Stilton and Benjamin Stilton. All the characters are very helpful and they are always there when anyone needs them.

Geronimo gets a letter for help in Venice. He goes to Venice and finds out who wrote the letter. He helps her because her father would not let her get out of the house. To get her out of the house, he must win a race. Will Geronimo win?

I think it is a good book because it is full of mystery and adventure. The setting is good because it was in Venice, the city of water. Some of the letters are made in different colours like yellow, red pink, orange and blue to make an emphasis on the story. This book is filled with humour , adventure and color illustrations. The author wrote the book in an amazing way. In this book, adventure is waiting to happen.

The book is filled with characters and an inside look at the beauty of island of Venice, Italy. There is so much to learn about cultural history of Venice. It is an exciting, thoughtful story about crystal status, food, art and love.

My 7-year old is addicted to Geronimo. It's an unusual approach to graphic fiction and an easy reader for most 1st and 2nd graders.
