My son only had 8 books because he read them in Greek and so only 8 books had been translated. He drank the book up even though he is learning English as a second language! In general the book is exciting for second and third graders, maybe more but that is where we are now. Everything helps its success, the graphic type changes, the plot and that it's a series!
