My eight year old daughter just loves the books so I thought I would but the dvd set for her to watch. She enjoys them almost as much as the books. I will buy the next set also. My five year old daughter doesn't read the books yet but she does enjoy watching the dvds.

Being a big fan of Geronimo Stilton I have been eagerly awaiting the arrival of the cartoon on TV. Living in Australia I figured I would have to wait a long time (we do for most things!).
But then when it didn't appear in the US either I began to wonder if I would ever see my favourite mouse speak in English. You can imagine my surprise when this DVD appeared on Amazon Canada.
Let me just say that kids (and adults) will love this if they are a fan of the books.
THE FACTS:
*The DVD is zone and region free. That is it can be screened on all DVD players around the world.
*It comes with a 16 page booklet outlining each episode and also has biographies of the main characters.
*The set comes with 2 DVDs and spans the first 13 episodes of Season 1 (season 2 is in the works already)
*The DVD shows the cartoon in widescreen (yay) which is great for big TVs
So thanks Amazon Canada for making this available, to the animators for all their hard work, to the producers who put it together and to Elisabetta Dami for her inspiration.
Lastly thanks to Geronimo Stilton for being a brave and generous mouse.

When I first got this I thought the show would be cheesy and the character's voices would be high pitched. I was so wrong. The show was funny and ANYONE could watch it. Read more

A (almost?) perfect family show.
Today's "kid's" shows are usually aimed squarely at ages 3-8, God forbid there will be something for an older demographic!
