The item arrived very fast. And I always wanted to have my own collection of GTIS. The series is definitely orientated toward adults as the animation style, voice acting, and story line are suited for mature audience. The English DUB is superb, if you like more mature anime, this is it!

The price was pretty fair for the entire series. The focus of this series is the Laughingman Case, an unresolved case in which a crazy unknown guy took some guy hostage and tried to make him spit out the truth behind a conspiracy. The police force Section 9 ends up solving it. Add in some cool action, great voice acting (sub and dub), nice music, and Major Kusanagi dressed like a hooker for reasons I never found out and you've got a hit. My only criticism is that this series does the same thing that many sci-fi anime series do. They put you in this world but they don't explain it until later. It's nowhere near as bad as Eureka Seven, but I'd rather have a real synopsis of the future than just letting you figure it out as you go. Nevertheless, it's a great series.

Excellent series, likely my favorite anime of all time. It incorporates both new age sci-fi and a classy blues feel at the same time. Even the few episodes that are mainly dialog are a good watch just to uncover more storyline.

Another great thing about the series is that if you miss an episode most can just be watched alone and still enjoyed. Obviouslly if you watch them all you know what's going on but most episodes are a new case so you can just pick it up whenver and still have a decent idea what's going on.
