Fascinating, Entertaining and Captivating,

This review is from: Ghosts: An Investigation into a True Canadian Haunting (Paperback)
This book tells the story about an investigation the author and his team conducted over a number of years. The amount of amazing occurrences that took place at the location while they were investigating is phenomenal. And to make things even better, information that they gathered from their investigation takes them on a journey and a new location across the street. A Farmhouse with it's own history and ghosts. Together, the author and his team work tirelessly to piece together the pieces of the puzzle to try to create the story that is the Fusion House.

Keep the lights on,
This review is from: Ghosts: An Investigation into a True Canadian Haunting (Paperback)
This is an outstanding book. I have quite a section of my personal library devoted to true ghost stories and paranormal research, and this is the most chilling thing I have read in years. (I'm almost 50 and I had to sleep with the lights on.) What makes it so compelling? Palmisano tells the story with a two-pronged spear, using both the recorded data accumulated at the site, as well as the intuitive information gathered by the psychics. Beyond this, the personal experiences of the team during the 3 year investigation are gripping, and very well told. And yet, what really makes this memorable is Palmisano's storytelling, his willingness to admit to fear and bafflement, and his thoughts on the ethics of what he is doing. Fascinating! But don't think of this book as overly intellectual. The spirits in the mansion, the farm house and especially the Coach House will keep you awake, and with the lights definitely on. Ever wonder...What kind of ghost a psychopath would be...?

I absolutely LOVED this book! It was especially terrifying since it is true and located just outside of my hometown of Toronto! I highly recommend this book. I have bought it for just about everyone I know so that they too can share in the fascinating, "scary" experience! I can't wait for Richard's next book to come out!
