2.0 out of 5 stars Sigh, Aug 5 2011
By S. Shamma "kinokuniya" - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: Girl In The Mirror: Two Stories (Hardcover)
Let's just say, I really wasn't impressed with this one.

I didn't mind that the book was small, and I would not have minded the cost so much, as long as the content was worth it.
Unfortunately, it really wasn't.

The second story was just so slow - and that's saying something as it was such a short story - and very confusing!
The first story started out great, but I think the way it ended was such an anti-climax to the whole build up of it.
I was a little surprised when I saw the book at the store at how small it was, and that it consisted of TWO different stories. I bought it anyway though, because I am such a huge fan of Cecelia's previous works. I have all her books, and I love her. I love the uniqueness of her stories and the way she spins them.

This however, was a huge disappointment in comparison. I finished the book in just over an hour, and I was left feeling very unsatisfied.

I think that if Cecelia focused her efforts on the first short story and extended it into a full blown book, she would've done a much better job at it.

I'm still a fan though, and I still look forward to her next book.
