4.0 out of 5 stars Must have for all UNION fans Aug. 7 2005
By J. Loncher - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Audio CD
I bought this one on a chance because John Corabi(vocals), Joe Lynn Turner(vocals) and Bob Daisley(bass) were on this. Funny thing is, my favorite song on the cd, "I'll Lay Down" doesn't include any of them and has a killer guitar riff that is very catchy. Lots of different performers on this cd, usually means it is going to be ok or not so good. Not this time. Even though I'm not rating it 5 stars, it is close because for some reason I just keep putting it back in my car cd player to hear it again. It's nice to have a good rockin cd with alot of different singers, guitars, etc, and have it all blend together nicely. I think if you are a UNION fan you will also like this group.

5.0 out of 5 stars Voodooland "Give Me Air" Jan. 14 2009

This is a rockin' and good sounding hard rock disc.It is an unknown underground classic which I found looking around the Amazon site. This CD I think was a Karl Cochran solo project. He has guest players on this disc such as:Joe Lynn Turner,Bob Daisley,John Corabi and Brent Fitz.King size guitar playing is the main ingredient here and first rate vocals follow up.I think all the songs are excellent and enjoyable. This is a must for your real hard fan not just the posers.River of Dreams at the end of the disc should not be missed.Find this, buy this you will enjoy this.

I thought this release was Kind of reminiscent of The Old Group "BADLANDS"
with Ray Gillen, and Jake E. Lee.. The same Heave Blues rock Riff Style tunes.
I feel bad saying, I Kinda wish Corabi Had ALL the vocal Parts.. NOTHING AGAINST
J.L.T., But Corabi's Voice is simply perfect for this style .
I Hope.. There will be follow up releases !
4.0 out of 5 stars Another missed gem, now added to my collection. Jan. 16 2012

Totally love this. I really like stumbling onto stuff like this here on Amazon. Karl Cochran project including Joe Lynn Turner and John Corabi on vocals to name a couple of the guests here. Just great playing and raw guitar tone here and thats what I am all about. If I ever visited New Jersey which is where I think I seen Karl was based from, I would look up where he was playing.
I like all the tracks except for track 4, which just did not do it for me. But hey, for the price and only 1 song dislike, that is pretty damn good. Definately will be following Karl to see whats next.

I found this cd through Amazon related searches-a very helpful tool here that introduces you to new music--Thanks,Amazon! This cd is a prime example of being blown out of the water with music you never knew existed. If you love a new discovery, and have an affinity for good ol' straight up 70's tinged hard rock (Grand Funk,James Gang,Trower,Travers) with a whiskey soaked blues feel, then this is your newest favorite disc! Karl Cochran has been the guitarist for Rainbow's Joe Lynn Turner. He decided to write/create this masterpiece in '04 with some familiar friends (Joe Lynn Turner-Rainbow & John Corabi-of Union & Motley Crue fame, and a guy that sounds alot like Glenn Hughes of Deep Purple fame,on vocals named Bruce Terkildsen). The album is chock full of winners, from funky blues rockers (think Funk 49/Walk Away,or Trower's Bridge of Sighs album, and Pat Travers style of rock). Or--just listen to the samples. Guarenteed you'll be sold, and want to ad this to your collection. I listen to it often, and you will ,too! Enjoy,T
