While he's justifiably famous as a DJ, it's really van Dyk's production, filled with shimmering electronics and relentlessly upbeat rhythms, that sets his recorded work apart from the pack. His knack for catchy hooks turns songs like "Another Way" from 2000's Out There and Back into swirling epics designed for jolting the dance floor into glowstick overdrive. Of the record's two previously unreleased tracks, "Animacion" sounds more like Van Dyk's recent work. The other, "My World," with its speedy, early-trance-house feel, may have sat in the back of Van Dyk's record crate for years. A MUST HAVE ! Excellent Compilation of best PaulVanDyk's best Tracks. Can't resist it, even if you've got most of the songs on it! W O R T H I T for music alone, visials ... are ok.

I couldn't be any more proud of PVD. It has been 10 years and some of us have been with him all the way. He's the sort of DJ that brings a sort of ecstacy (no pun intended for the Ravers) to the dancefloor. He's the king of his genre and from Berlin too!!! His presence, his trance, his hutzpah is uncomparible. The DVD on the other hand is a perfect visual of what trance and club really is and if you notice, no ones downing amphetamines! There is a better definition and with a mix of different cultures and club scenes it makes the DVD a collectable for all Trance-lovers. I live in Berlin, I've been to America, and Paul Van Dyk is universally loved. He's not going anywhere for the next ten years. Wir lieben dich, Paul. Meine Schwester willt dich zu heiraten;)

Both the CD & DVD are wonderful. Not too fast paced here. 'We Are Alive' and 'How We Used To Live' are the highlights here! I love Paul's work with Saint Etienne, and I've been looking for the video for so long - and here it is!
