5.0 out of 5 stars Doom from not really funny money, July 28 2009

(TOP 1000 REVIEWER)    (REAL NAME)
This review is from: Gloom, Doom and Very Funny Money: Economics for Half-wits (Paperback)
This book gives a comical, yet enlightening description of our money's current enslaving nature in an economy. It is an out of print, but potentially collectors' book that can be bought 2nd hand.

I quote J.D.Ritchie's review on the Amazon.co.uk website, as I could not better his description: "Simple explanation of the world of economics by the polymath genius Neil Innes, the musical genius behind The Rutles and Monty Python in Britain.
Written before the "Dummies" style books, this explains the past, present and future of money and economics in such a way as even I can understand it, and it shows where the world's current economic woes originated. If you want to be entertained and yet find yourself educated at the end of it, then go for this."

Money in the world's so called "democratic" nations has been created through debt for more than the last 200 years by the private banking system that has been restoring what was once in history a feudalistic (non-democratic) existence for the masses. The money created in this system has been, and is cause for all our booms and busts. We have got so used to its enslavement that we (especially governments believing in their economic advisors) cannot imagine the absence of "legally fraudulent" banks. Readers should also seek out a highly recommendable DVD called "Money as Debt" to complement the information in this book. Both items are ideal for educating the family about the true nature of our money in an entertaining manner.

I wish a demand for this book would bring it back in print: It would be an excellent book (along with the recommended "Money as Debt" DVD) for educating pupils at schools - if the powers that be (i.e. governments manipulated by the rapacious private banking and financial corporations) allow it, of course.
