Ordered this piece of equipment to compliment my push up bars and bodylastic resistance bands - to better work some of my back muscles. It arrived quickly and was very easy to assemble. Lightweight and strong and fits perfectly on my doorframe at home. There are a variety of well padded grips (wide and narrow) as well as two metal loops for attaching Hanging Ab Straps - I purchased a used pair on ebay for less than 20 dollars including shipping (SPRI 8-Inch Hanging Ab Straps). I am not tall or really heavy (5'8'' and 160 lbs) and the unit feels really solid when I workout. The first time I tried a chinup, 1 was all I could do; however, within 2 weeks - training every 2-3days - I am up to 7 repetitions. Not to go on and on, but I am very happy with the purchase - and it fits in my closet, easily.

Very well built chin up bar that didn't take that long or require much effort to assemble with the right tools and following the instructions. Versatile product that works great on the floor for push ups and dips too! Mine was missing one plastic cap off one of the pipe ends, but after one email a replacement cap was promptly shipped to me at no charge. I'm very happy with both excellent product and customer service experience.

Comparing to others who had a bad experience with this item, I didn't have any trouble with it. I opened the box, nothing was missing. Don't forget that you have what you pay for. I was scared a bit when I was reading all the negative comment on the product but I decided to give it a try anyway. If you're patient and take care of building it EXACTLY how they tell you, you'll be alright! Only one detail about it that I think everybody know is the little screw in the middle that doesn't hold very good and the plastic piece, of course. But, does a really great job.

Good Product, but does wear after use
It serves it's purpose, but I have noticed the two supporting bars that rest on the vertical door frame wear out and end up scuffing the frame, so keep an eye on it. Read more
