Need more info in product description!, Jan 22 2012

I bought these bands to go along with Beach Body's Brazil Butt Lift, and these were the best priced I saw on Amazon. Unfortunately, as the seller provided so little info about the bands in the product description, I kind of took a shot in the dark and hoped these would work out.
Well, they seem sturdy enough - I've used the blue band a few times and it hasn't stretched out (unlike the yellow band that comes with the Brazil Butt Lift package, which stretched out the first time I used it.) Lying flat, they are about 9.5" long (as compared to BBL's yellow band, which is about 10.5" long. If you're doing the high & tight workout, GoFit's bands feel just a bit too short for the standing band work, but it's doable. GoFit's bands are the perfect length for the floor band work, much better than the 10.5" yellow band in my opinion.) I suppose my only other gripe with GoFit is the bands are not labeled light / medium / hard, and nowhere on the product packaging is this information indicated. The red band is obviously the light band, but the difference between the medium and hard bands is hard to distinguish - I think blue is the medium band and green is the hard band. Finally, I appreciated this nice touch: the package includes a laminated, sturdy flipbook of 10 leg exercises to do with the bands.
Overall, I docked a star because of the (annoying) lack of information in the product description (re: the length of the bands) and then on the product's packaging (re: band resistance.)

I bought these bands to go along with The Brazil Butt Lift videos. The bands are SO much more durable than the one that comes with the workouts. I am so glad I took a chance on these ones. :) I also like the lamenated flip book that comes with the bands. That was a nice addition. I'm very pleased with my purchase.
Update: I am writing an update of my review. I originally rated it a 5, but have changed it to a 4. The only reason is due to what another reviewer had stated. The bands do tend to roll after some usage. It can get annoying at times. I'm still pleased with my purchase because it's much better than the Brazilian Booty Lift's version. They are durable. I haven't had any other issues with them.

These bands are great for strength training. I purchased in place of the band that comes with the Brazilian Butt DVDs; the band included is extremely weak and cheap. There isn't much difference between the blue and green but, are both for advanced users. I lent them to a male friend who is an avid cycler and his strength was tested with the green band and quickly felt the burn and tired. The red band is great for beginners and amateur athletes and, with repetitive work outs accomplish great results. Another plus, the bands are the perfect thickness as to not roll up while using. Also, comes with a book of useful exercises if you are not using with a work out video to follow.
