I must confess that I'm a 26 years old child who loves to color lol!!!. I often do anxiety crises so for me, coloring in books is a way to calm me down. When I color, I forget everything around me...
Some weeks ago, I just started to do mandalas but after some pages, it was a bit repetitive and boring so I was looking on amazon for adult coloring books and finaly found those from Dover publications. They have a huge selection of coloring books for all tastes (fairies, flowers gardens, butterflies, victorian mansions and so much more) so I decided to order two of them (the one you can see on this page and the other one is Empire fashions from Tom Fierney).I chose them cause Victorian period is a fascination for me so I was so excited to receive those coloring books!!!
So, I just got my order today and Godey's Fashions coloring book is so lovely! All the pages are so detailed and well done. I can say with no hesitation that I've never ever seen a cutest coloring book before. In addition of it, each dress has his own comment and explanation so for those who like this period, it's very interesting.
Now, I just have a little problem : this book is so wonderful that I don't want to use it! I will probably print all the pages so I will be able to color it again and again!
