Hey, if you're looking for a Bible that you can read & understand, this is the translation for you!
There are no "thee"s & "thou"s. Everything is in today's language.
I'm not suggesting that we should throw away the King James version of the Bible, but perhaps you could use them side-by-side, just to help you understand the true meaning of the verse.
It's my understanding that this is the FIRST translation of the Bible during which ALL the scholars were sitting around the same table @ the same time, agreeing on the proper translation of each verse.
In other translations of the Bible, certain books were assigned to small teams of scholars all around the world, then their translations were put together to form a complete translation of the Bible.
Remember, the King James version of the Bible is a translation, too!
