Like fellow German, Funki Porcini, De-Phazz is a culture-vulture's pastiche dream! And you can't help but dance around the room to these upbeat snippety songs.
The titular delight loops one chord progression and one sentence into a trippy trance that sends you right back to the "Ghost in the Invisible Bikini"-Don Kirshner "silly" songs of the sixties!
It all ends with the slow croon, "Anchorless," which wouldn't be out of place on any adult-contemporary station. Those Germans have post-modernism down to a "T"!
Also check out De-Phazz's "Death By Chocolate," and Funki Porcini's "Love, Pussycats & Carwrecks"!

"Her name is Godsdog...." Yep, that's the entirety of the lyrics for cut #9, and all you can do is play this bouncy masterpiece over and over again! Another swell, "Information," is a sort of acid-trip peaon to reason! Grab this swingin' disc!

Love this album. Can't really call it techno, can't really call it Jazz, it's a mix of my two favorite types of music in the whole world!! Every one who likes techno, or Jazz, should TOTALLY buy the album, and for further info. my fav song is Jazz Music.
