I may be 12, but this book was a lot of fun! The actions scene were fun to read and look at, a lot of fun! This is also a great book for little kids, duh! I have some little cousins, and this would probably help them like Godzilla, I'm sure it'd be good for all little kids. I liked the kaiju that were in here. Godzilla, Rodan, Hedorah, and Gigan make a great cast! If you like Godzilla, and you need a short, fun book to read, this is it!

Not A Bad Book, July 26 2004
A Kid's Review - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: Godzilla Vs. Gigan and the Smog Monster (Paperback)
Godzilla vs. Gigan and the Smog Monster is one of three books published by Random House that were meant for very small children. The other two are Who's Afraid of Godzilla?, and Godzilla on Monster Island. I had the other two (I said had because I somehow lost Who's Afraid of Godzilla?). The plot of the book is very simple: Hedorah (from 1971's Godzilla vs. the Smog Monster) and Gigan (from 1972's Godzilla vs. Gigan and 1973's Godzilla vs. Megalon) show up in California and wreck havoc, and Godzilla, with the help of Rodan, appear to defeat the two evil monsters. The pictures were well-drawn, but the story is very short and about 1st-grade level writing. It's not too bad, though, better than Godzilla on Monster Island. I would recommend it to preschoolers through 2nd graders who love Godzilla.
