Good hip hop cd!,

This review is from: Gold Chains (Audio CD)
This is a very fun hip hop cd. This is Gold Chains first self titled track. I heard them recently in Seattle and realized this band has a pretty good following considering how many people were singing along with them while they were playing. They bring a lot of energy not only to their live performancesbut also to the cd. Pick this cd up, the price is definitly worth the quality of the listed five songs.

death to hip-hop,

I'm so sick of watered-down white boy backpacker hip-hop. It's a genre with a lifespan shorter than the open bottle of milk in my fridge. Not that mainstream black hip-hop is much better. Unless Missy's singing it, it's probably boring, uninspiring, and grating. Then there's this. Lights went off when I heard it. Is it grating? Hell yeah, but in a MUCH better way than the Jay-Z's of the world. Id DHR and Tigerbeat 6 made a hip-hop record. Agressive, loud, and fun. digit.
