First Novel Award Winner: David Bezmozgis

David Bezmozgis has won the Amazon.ca First Novel Award for The Free World. Head judge Stuart Woods, editor of Quill & Quire magazine, called the book "an ambitious, self-assured first novel that confirms him as a leading author of his generation."
