Product Description

Review

"Butch Harmon, Jim Flick, Hank Haney and a gaggle of tourists from Watson and Couples to Lorena and Phil all contribute tips and fixes to this colorful and comprehensive instructional. For Golf’s best advice, jump to the final section. If its wisdom has little to do with hitting the ball, it’s still the kind of dope that makes for better golfers. Like Arnie’s order to speed it up. Style guru Marty Hackel’s plea to apply sunblock. And, courtesy of Bob Rotella, the most underrated and sure-fire game-enhancer of all: Ignore unsolicited swing advice. Amen." ~Golf.com / Sports Illustrated

This book was purchase without knowing the content beforehand. There is lot of color photographs of PGA players with individual tips or quick fixes for slicers, hookers, problem with the short game etc. Unfortunately there is no depth to the analysis and well described drills to correct the problems. Therefore this book was rated very low as it's should. I would not recommend this book for individuals that would like to increase their knowledge on the game our are teachers or golf professionals.

This book is like having your own PGA swing coach! March 6 2012
By JO Reynolds - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback
Now is the time to get ready for golf season and this is the book to do it! This is the clearest book for both teaching and learning the game of golf that I have ever read. It has great tips from the all the PGA and LPGA stars and drills to reinforce fundamentals. The tips are broken out by handicap level and for on-course strategy and at-the-range practice. The unique teaching from the green backwards--so learning to putt, then chip, then irons, then tee shots--makes a lot of sense. There are incredible photos of all the big names of golf in action as well as swing sequence photos demonstrating all aspects of the game.

This is a good book that adds to my collection of golf instruction. I don't think there is anything revolutionary but it is nice to get different views and opinions especially for the golfer that likes to teach themselves.
