From Publishers Weekly

In The Good Girl's Guide to Bad Girl Sex, sex therapist Barbara Keesling (How to Make Love All Night; Super Sexual Orgasm) asserts that nearly every "good" girl yearns to be "bad" and offers tips for unleashing the bad girl within. Keesling, who worked for a sex therapist as a surrogate partner for 10 years before becoming one herself, explores the inhibitions that women have about sex, and explains how you can dress, speak, walk, tease, use sex toys, give blow jobs and have orgasms like the bad girl of your dreams. In addition, Keesling, herself a former "good" girl meaning that like most women, she had learned to hide her wild desires from the world offers her personal story as inspiration for all women who want to learn how to "feel good about being bad."

1.0 out of 5 stars This Book Sucks Jan. 15 2004
Format:Hardcover
This book is writen in the most condisending way imaginalbe. Barbara Keesling knows everything - you know nothing. Barbara Keesling is sexy - you are not. Not all nice girls are nice only because they are repressed fridged little girls trying to avoid growing up. You can be a nice girl and still be sexy, something the author seems to disagree with. You don't have to regect the part of you that likes being nice to have a good sex life and you don't have to be bullied into thinking that you are not a complete person if you don't.

This books is sooo much fun to read---advice on how to make yourself feel and excude that confidence and beauty that sometimes gets lost as we women focus on career, chores and everyone else. This book reiterates why it is important to do little things for yourself that will change the way you present yourself to the world and honor your own beautiful, little quirks.

1.0 out of 5 stars I would have given this a lower score if I could... March 15 2004
Format:Hardcover
What a waste of time & money.. I found this in the bargain bin at Barnes & Noble. Now I know why...If you know ANYTHING about sex this will not help. I was hoping for something spicy, not the lame (B)ad-libs. Pahlease!! I do not need anyone telling me how to talk, walk or breathe. I was hoping for info on how to really put some pizazze in my love life, not cheesy stuff I knew in HS. Save your money, you can read more informative things on the web for FREE!!

1.0 out of 5 stars good girl's do-it-yourself guide Jan. 24 2004

Format:Hardcover
This book is awful and a waste of time and money. It's also incredibly shallow, focusing mostly on clearing out your closet and performing the "fun" exercises she describes on yourself. The author also makes such a point of being a surrogate partner for a sex therapist. Isn't that basically a prostitute??? Don't waste any energy on this book.

1.0 out of 5 stars Don't waste your time Aug. 1 2003

What tramp needs to do this stuff to get a man? Have some self esteem and not only will men love you ... you'll love yourself! I guess I'm not that little insecure girl that is so desperate for a man's love that she's willing to compromise her body and values!

5.0 out of 5 stars Way to be a CONFIDENT WOMAN! May 16 2003
By Mer
Format:Hardcover
I read this book and my friends can't wait for each other to read it, so 3 of them have already bought their own copies!
If you want a book on sexual positions and techniques, this book is not for you. However, if you are a woman who wants to learn that it is OK to be sexy and how to incorperate sexyness into everyday of your life (as well as redefine your idea about what it means to be "bad") this book is awesome! It is really about becoming an autonomous, confidant, adult woman! It's great!
My self-esteem is rising as I do the excersizes (don't worry, most of them are even FUN!) in the book. My posture has changed, I no longer have clothes in my warddrobe that I do not enjoy wearing, and it has opened up a whole range of wonderful conversation with my girls. In fact, if you liked this book or are interesting in hearing more from people that have read it, check out the Yahoo! Group "confident women"!
Basically, it is easy to read and full of great information for women at any stage in life that would like some encouragement to show their natural sexy attitude!
Read and Enjoy!!!

4.0 out of 5 stars Something every "Good Girl" should own! Dec 15 2002
Format:Hardcover
You have a good job, you dress nicely -- you even visit your parents once a week. However, you still have a naughty girl within that is dying to come out of her shell. The Good Girl's Guide to Bad Girl Sex is a great introduction to help even the most timid woman shatter her inhibitions. From discovering the sex toys you never thought you had (like the silk scarf that can be used to tie him to the bed) to learn how to use verbal stimulation in and out of bed, this wonderful and insightful guidebook will make you feel good about being bad. This is one of the best reading investments I've made all year!

1.0 out of 5 stars maybe I'm too much of a bad girl already... Dec 10 2002

...but there was nothing particularly new in this book, or anything particularly surprising. This book MAY be helpful to some as a first step, but it most likely isn't a crucial read for those of us who are already satisfied with our sex lives and just looking to add a little extra spice.
