4.0 out of 5 stars Good but hard to find and written from a British point of view..., Nov 7 2005
By EH Adams - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: "Good Housekeeping" Every Home Should Have One: Seventy Five Years of Change in the Home (Hardcover)
This is a great book for a reference as to how household technology evolved in England. It was written in 1997, the year Good Housekeeping turned 75 in England. The only thing that keeps me from giving it that 5th star is that from the 1960's forward it tends to gloss over things rather quickly. However from 1922 thru 1959 it is thorough and well researched and truly engrossing. But remember it deals strictly with England.

It was rather hard to obtain a copy but worth it.
