On his current release, "Good News", Matt Dusk continues to once again promote his "Mr. Cool" vocal styling yet fortunately arrives at piercing through a new artistic plateau while respecting the core of his fan base.The first half of this CD is genuinely upbeat and dynamic while the second half is expressively stirring. The track listing works flawlessly and provides an enjoyable musical voyage for the audience! The good news about GOOD NEWS is Matt Dusk innovates and builds upon his successful sound. As opposed to the other new crooners currently releasing material that is cautious not to stray far from their proven formula, Dusk dares to be playful and innovative. He creates a fresh "hot vegas inspired" style that artfully expands upon his proven "cool" formula. Fans of the vocal styling of Buble and Connick Jr. will fully appreciate the track listing produced on GOOD NEWS. Dusk adapts his repertoire to further entice and lure a new audience into appreciating true vocalists gifted with the art of lyrical interpretation. The tracks found on this product have more attack than the current offerings of Connick Jr. and Buble proving that Dusk remains the one crooner who can excel in expanding his artistry. Frankly it is a testament to the sheer quality of the material on Good News that one can instantly classify the collection of new songs as feeling familiar. Should Universal Music opt to properly invest in the promotion of this product then a song such as "It Can Only Get Better" should end up a new staple for Top 40 radio. You like Bennett, Darin, Sinatra, Buble, Connick Jr.? Ok ~ You'll love this one!

This cd is really Good News for music lovers! Matt has an eclectic mix of catchy tunes that will have you singing and bopping along. The first dozen tracks are a non-stop mix of fun and catchy songs and are followed by very smooth Matt style on One For My Baby (love that sound!!). This is a great cd for driving to work - it will keep you in a good mood even in the worst traffic! Play it LOUD and have fun!!

Avec cet album, Matt Dusk a réussi à combiner jazz, pop et musique techno-européene, créant un mélange intéressant. " It Can Only Get Better" va droit au coeur.
