First it is more affordable to buy the complete series then one season at a time. I love how they bring up topics about God, being really broke, and problems about being in the, "Ghetto". My young college age friends found this series in my DVD collection and woke me up from sleep with their laughter. I highly recommend this series and this box set is great. Enjoy!

The Good Times series with JJ Dyn-o-myte Evans and his family brought my wife and I back to when we were young watching this series in the 1970's. It not only brought a lot of laughs but the series dealt with a lot of social issues of the time which still hold true in the 21st century.
We were happy to share with our daughters the kind of TV that we grew up with and enjoy the time together.
Good Times is a great time and worth the purchase price.
