Product Description

From Amazon.com

Margaret Wise Brown and Clement Hurd's bestselling children's book headlines this winning 25-minute collection of sleepytime tales from HBO. Susan Sarandon narrates the simple story of a bunny readying for bed. Other top entertainers lend their voices to the tape: Tony Bennett sings the story of "Hit the Road to Dreamland"; Lauryn Hill brings rhythm to "Hush, Little Baby" (the best segment); Billy Crystal lends many voices to Mercer Mayer's "There's a Nightmare in My Closet"; and singers Natalie Cole, Aaron Neville, and Patti LeBelle sing other tales. A dandy video for the youngster, punctuated with "interviews" of real kids answering a host of bedtime questions. --Doug Thomas

1.0 out of 5 stars not appropriate for kids, Aug 28 2002
By
Mr. Peabody (Ottawa, Canada) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Goodnight Moon (VHS Tape)
This video is not appropriate for kids of an age who would enjoy the book "Goodnight Moon". The video contains interviews with kids discussing such matters as dreaming of parents who have passed away, and an endless variety of nightmares.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent, sweet, a family favorite!, July 18 2004

This review is from: Goodnight Moon (VHS Tape)
This video is a family favorite in our household. It has several children's stories with wonderful animated illustration, interviews with children (which will make you laugh and cry), and songs. The grown-ups enjoy this one just as much as the kids! It's a must-see!

5.0 out of 5 stars every child should have or see this video, May 21 2004
By A Customer
This review is from: Goodnight Moon (VHS Tape)
what can i say the story alone is a classic not to mention the other sleepytime tales.. My children love these stories and watch them over and over. With all the crap out there, this video is a breath of fresh air. the only problem is that there is not a dvd yet.....
