This book is an interesting read for a particular audience. I learnt a lot about Shiva worship and Gorakhnath from this book. I had no idea who the Kanphatas were but was curious about them after hearing about them from a friend. There's a lot of detail about their influence on spiritual life in India and all of it is surprising even for someone like me, who grew up in India. It opened my eyes to aspects of Shiva worship, Yogis, Kanphatas, Hindu rituals from various time periods, etc. that I had no idea about. Truly fascinating.
One thing I should add here is that this is an old book. It was written in 1924 about an India that was very different from today's India. So please enjoy this with the right frame of mind.
