Some modern albums were born to be on vinyl. Grace is easily one of those. I think anyone who knows it probably has trouble describing to others. More than anything else there's his voice, which I would call angelic. From highs to lows it's pretty much perfect. But the music is also impressive, and is also very moving. It's both classic and modern at the same time.
Much of the album is very rock, and they do that well, but much of it is also very delicate and peaceful. If you're here for the Leonard Cohen cover, know that many other tracks are of that caliber. Jeff Buckley's death in the Mississippi river was indeed tragic, but not hearing this piece of work would be too. 5 stars.
