I was nominated as "planner" for our recent trip to Spain. After reading 2 generic Spain travel guides and 2 on areas we were to visit, I picked this one up to "cover the bases." I did not find this book helpful. Compared to other books the information was sparse and very opinionated. Additionally, I did not care for the writing style. To me, it seemed the authors did not like Andalusia and made a lot of either negative or pompous comments about the area. If you are considering this book, I would certainly try to look at it somewhere first to decide if you really wanted/required the information it contained. I think you could do better, we did!
