I decided to order the game as a way of relaxing after a hard day.

Delivery and installation

The game arrived within 10 days... a little long considering the distance traveled but well within the predicted date of delivery. The game itself came in fantastic condition. San Andreas installed without a problem. Although I have a 64-bit Windows 7, the system was bright enough to adapt and deactivated its premium features to work as Windows Basic, so there would be no compatibility issues.

First issue: When I started playing, I quickly realized that there were graphical issues. Darker colors in the game were not precise, and black cannot be displayed at all. Instead, these colors are replaced by a weird mix of other darker colors. Fortunately, I can say that these errors have not affected gameplay at all. They are minor enough that they do not distract the player. For the record, my PC is a 4-month old Dell with an HD 6770 graphics card, all drivers up to date. All my other games, including the 15-year old Age of Empires work flawlessly, so I'm pretty sure my computer is not the problem.

Second issue: For some reason, the game does not at first recognize the mouse. Possibly through sheer luck, I have discovered a way around it on my PC. If I go to the options menu, and I turn "Steer with Mouse" option on, it won't fix it. But, for some reason, if I go back to the game, then back to the menu, and then turn the "Steer with Mouse" option off again, the mouse miraculously starts working! It makes no sense whatsoever to me, but I'm glad I can actually play the game.

Firstly, I own every singe GTA game ever made, including the firt two for PC and have been a serious fan, consistently (at least once a week, even after finishing each game multiple times) playing a version of GTA since the release of GTA3 (sad, I know). One of the elements of each game in the series that I've enjoyed most to this point, beyond the obviously excellent story line, flawless (though sometimes frustrating) gameplay, fantastic writing and voicework (and all the cool cameos) is the fact that the Rockstar truly works on making each game perfect right down to the tiniest little detail. Case in point, I was swimming around in San Fierro Bay last night and came across a submarine moored to the dock. It was just a part of the background, but it was called the "U.S.S. Numnuts". I couldn't help's the silly little things that make me love these games as much as I do. They're also starting to tie the story lines from the previous two games together, which is great. All in all, the best game I've ever played, period.

i must say im very excited about this game coming out i hope it wont be to long before i can get it when it hits stores. I am very excited about all of those ghetto neighborhoods like in the movie training day, and riding the low rider bikes and pulling drive bys with 5 people all sticking their guns out the windows at the same time. I cant wait to go into one of those neighborhoods and beat up a gangster one on one for his low rider bike and go cruzing and do drive bys on gangsters on their bikes and their houses and run away from the cops on my lowrider bike right after i stole it from someone. I started thinking recently how come their aren't any good games coming out. I remember when i would get really anxious for certain games. Its been a long time though since ive had that feeling of really wanting a game . Ive bought all couple of games(final fantasy 10, driv3r) and their alright but none of them have givin me that same excitement that the grand theft auto games have. I then realized that grand theft auto games are the only games that bring me that anxious excitement. I ve felt the same way about every grand theft auto game from the first one all the way to vice city and ive always been very satisfyied about the outcome. Now I cant Wait For San Andreas. Just like every other grandtheft auto game this one will be better then the other ones of its series.

When I heard that there would be yet another GTA, I was happy! I loved everything about Vice City and when I got the email from Gamespot about San Andreas, I was full of joy.
The extra features on this game makes it in my opinion the best of the GTA series. I never would have thought that there would be anything like this on GTA and I'm glad that it will be now.
Now on the subject of there being a lead black character...what's the deal with you racist people? This is a game! It is fictional! What does it matter if you are black character or not? Tommy Vercetti was an Italian and I didn't hear any complaints from the Caucasians. You're not Italian but it's okay to protray one, but it isn't okay to protray a black man. What kind of logic is that?
I'm a black female and I don't complain when I play GTA that the main character is an Italian male. Heck, I believe that as long as the game is entertaining it shouldn't matter. You are not black, you are only controlling a black character. Guess what? When your PS2 goes off, you still aren't black!
You tell your kids not to believe things on TV because it's fake, well you should listen to your own advice. Don't believe what you see on your TV from your PS2 games because it is fake! It isn't real. And another thing, how do you think some blacks feel when they play their PS2? There are so few games with a playable black character, but do you hear them complaining about the games? No. So just please stop your craziness and play the game, it's going to be awesome!
