Funny and full of useful information on the noble pot bush, May 29 2004
This review is from: Grandpa's Marijuana Handbook (Paperback)
Grandpa's Marijuana Handbook deals with the subject of pot and its use as medicine. It's also entertaining and will elicit a good laugh even as it enlightens.
Learn how to roll a proper joint, where and how to acquire pot, how to evade the narcs, which ailments pot will cure (all of 'em), the risks involved in toking (none), the use of bongs, vaporizers, hookahs, etc.
Granda Ganja has smoked pot every day for 34 years to treat glaucoma and he knows the pot works at least half the time as he can still see out of one eye. Pot will cure almost anything except actual death. If you do have an aiment pot can't cure, it will make you forget you have it.
And much more.

If you're a Senior, or know a Senior who is frightened or otherwise distrustful of marijuana, get this book. First, it's hilarious. If you bought this book for nothing more than a good chuckle, you'd get your moneys worth, but it's far more than that. Mr. Keliher has a Doctorate in Education, has been married 46 years and is a Korean Vet...he's also had glaucoma for 30 years and he's treated it successfully with marijuana. As a one himself, he *knows* what it's like to be a Senior Citizen; the hurdles; the stress; the aches and pains. In his book he explains, with an excellent sense of humour and surprisingly apt examples, how marijuana can improve a Senior Citizens Quality of Life. I loved it.
