4.0 out of 5 stars Very well told, but only half of the story of Jason and the Argonauts, May 21 2012

This book is part of Graphic Universe's Graphic Myths and Legends series. This one tells the story of Jason and his quest for the Golden Fleece. It's very well told, and I found the illustration work to be quite excellent.

My only problem with the book is that it truly is only half of the story of Jason and the Argonauts. It does not tell the story of the recruitment of the Argonauts, the adventures on the Isle of Lemnos, nor the fight with the Gegeines. Instead, the book picks up at the Symplegades.

In spite of this, though, it is a good graphic novel, and a good one for introducing young readers to Classical mythology. What can I say? I liked it.
