No complaints at all. Jan. 30 2008

This book covers many of the "old standards". It gives you staff and tab and chords. Another nice feature is each arrangement has picking and strumming patterns for the chords. It is laid out neatly.

Anyone who wants to play some old gospel standard should look at this book.

Great book of old Gospel songs May 24 2010

I am in a praise band and we get lyrics and chords off the internet. This book is pretty easy but it gives some music and time signatures. Our lead player can read the melody notes and come up with leads. Well worth the money. Also has nice strum/finger picking patterns in front for the songs.

Easy guitar music for beginners Oct. 15 2012

These "Easy Guitar" music books are ideal for beginners. The number of chords are limited and are clearly shown at the top of each song. The strum and picking patterns are shown at the front of the book and are referenced for each song. I was able to play both the melody and the chords in a few hours of practice. I recommend these books for beginning guitar players.

Well Rounded Collection Oct. 29 2013

Many old classics that I recognize are here. As well as many that I do not. A great opportunity to play and sing favorites as well as learn new pieces. Simple chords, straight forward format, all the verses--overall a well done collection.
Only OK Dec 25 2013

This book has some good gospel songs in it. The arrangement for each song seems directly transposed from a hymnal. When the song is played it sounds like a six string piano. Not a bad book though.
