Kotone and Suzune focused

This 4th volume in the series focuses on Kotone and Suzune's relationship. While the other characters are in there, they're only in it for maybe a total of 10 pages or so. I personally like love stories where the characters knew each other before the story starts, and Naduki Koujima plays that up with this couple. Suzune's past comes up briefly in this story too, but the plot focuses on how their relationship is changing and moving forward. You still don't get to meet Yoshi like was promised in volume 3, but you do get hints that something big is going to happen in the next volume (of course, we'll probably have to wait quite a while for volume 5). If you like BoyxBoy love stories, I highly recommend anything by Naduki Koujima. If you haven't read the first three yet, you should get started here: Great Place High School - Student Council (Yaoi)!

I'm a huge fan of Naduki Koujima so I'm biased and probably not a reliable source for people looking at this to see if they want to buy this book or not, but this was another great addition to GPHS Student Council series. As soon as I saw the cover, I was instantly excited to get this book. Kotone and Suzune Kimura are my favorite couple out of all of them so I knew that since they were displayed on the cover, the main story of this book would be about them. I wasn't disappointed at all. In this volume, the reason why Suzune is so hostile to Kotone is revealed as well as how he truly feels, which we hadn't seen thus far. There is conflict that leads Suzune to finally admit that he cares for Kotone. This is when things finally pick up between them and it gets a bit steamy. Unfortunately, they're interrupted. This actually added to the story rather than took away because it took a lot to get them this far so they still need a bit more time to get to that point, in my opinion. To make up for them not going all the way, there's steaminess between Rin and Eichi at the end. It ends in a cliff hanger leading into the next installment. Can't wait to read it!
