Call thjis there best?, Mar 18 2004
wheres "heavens on fire"? "i love it loud"? "Lick It Up"? "Domino"? and the rest???? Dont bother with this album, just wait a few more years, and after the 90000th time kiss release a greatest hits album they might have one that is satisfactory enough to say "greatest hits" this album already has been released 3 times since with new names and covers and the tracks are all exactly the same! Gene and Paul sure must be rolling in the cash if this is how you make money by releasing a million GH albums that obviously wernt made for fans or in the intrest of actually making a REAL greatest hits album! Give it a few years and wait for the next 200 to be released before they decide to release a propper one. most likly after there 17th break up farewell tour!

First KISS CD I ever bought, Oct 1 2003
By A Customer
KISS has had a number of compilations over the years. This one is rather unique if not strange. It covers a few KISS essentials "Detroit Rock City", "Beth", "Rock and Roll All Nite", "Deuce", and "Strutter", but skips a few fan favorites, "Love Gun", "God of Thunder", "Shock me", and the live version of "Rock and Roll All Nite". It has a few interesting songs included instead. Do You Love Me. A sort of love it or hate it song from "Destroyer". I've always liked it. Plaster Caster. Not crazy about it, has a cool beginning. Flaming Youth. O.K song, also from "Destoyer", although five tracks from that album is a little exessive ("Shout it out loud" is live however) Two Sides of The Coin. Sorry Ace, but I hate this song. It is a interesting album for someone who is not serious fan, but wants more then just the most famous KISS songs. But not a overly good album to start with.

Did We Really Need This One?, Sep 30 2007
This review is from: Greatest Hits (Audio CD)
First this is a good KISS compilation offering(again)classics such as rock`n`roll all nite, deuce, black diamond and the usual others.Nothing wrong with this compilation ,good selection of track good price BUT this the 8+ compilation by KISS,every die-hards or fans own these song.Sure its a great place for starters or casuals but kiss released 8+ compilation already and its just killing its legacy.Kiss if you are reading stop making compilations!!! There is the new shout it out loud video version song and "god gave rock`n`roll to you II" wich isnt included on many kiss compilation it also goes for plaster caster.if you are new fan dont bother,go buy it but fo older fans its a waste of money exept "shout it out loud".It would have been cool if they included songs from "creatures of the night" at least one. Good compilation but did we need it?good for starters,3 stars because there is way too much compilation already and this one is good but not the best..The songs are great but we didnt need this one because there is already too many!Recomended to starters. Not the best compilation but a good one i guess, the songs choice could have been better.
