Product Description

Product Description

The Offspring Greatest Hits album is truly that an amazing collection of hit songs, from their Epitaph Records tracks 'Come Out And Play (Keep 'Em Separated)' and 'Self Esteem' through 'Hit That' and '(Can't Get My) Head Around You'. This album even includes a brand new track recorded this year, 'Can't Repeat', which will be blasting out of radios all over the country by the time you read this. Coinciding with the band's upcoming headlining of this summer's Warped Tour, this album is a must-have for anyone who sees, has seen, or will ever see this awesome band. Also includes a hidden bonus track, 'Next to You' which follows a few seconds after the 14th track, '(Can't Get My) Head Around You'. Columbia. 2005.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great hits from a great band. July 3 2005
Format:Audio CD
I highly recommend buying this album. If you own all the other Offspring albums then don't bother (unless you want all these songs on one disc), but if you're like me and you have only a couple of their CD's then snap this collection up. The Offspring are one of the greatest bands of the last twenty years and their staying power has proven that. All the songs are awesome. Buy this now.

5.0 out of 5 stars Marvellous $#!t July 4 2005
Format:Audio CD
First of all bloody excellent CD, The best start to any of their CD's with the only 2005 song on the CD, "Can't Repeat". Besides Self Esteem, The Offspring should be most proud of this track. It has a nice intro, the trademark yelling of Dexter Holland, a sick-arsed basic riff and a good message in there.
People always refer to The Offspring as Punk, but in my eyes The Offspring is something different. They are in a different genre than anything else to me, and although my favourite genre is a totally different one I sincerely enjoy listening to The Offsprings Masterpieces.
Unfortunately "Can't Repeat" is the only new track, (none from an upcoming album), so we can only hope that the song isn't one that The Offspring are going to leave the music industry with. Their music is still the same (and bloody thank god) but on their new film clip it seems they're getting old. It'll be a shame if it is their last single that we'll hear.
This is the only review that I've ever written and may just be the last.
In conc. the CD has a slow meaningful start, and then shows what The Offspring are capable of. Its worth your money. (except they left out "staring at the sun" and "dammit I changed again." grrr.

5.0 out of 5 stars Rock Music Hits from The Offspring April 9 2011
By Stella Carrier TOP 100 REVIEWER
Format:Audio CD
The "Offspring Greatest Hits" is a great collection of the musical hits by this talented group that that many people have heard and enjoy. This compilation is a very strong 90's rock collection that are great musical tracks that cover various themes of life. My personal favorites on this collection are:

1) Self Esteem: This is a very edgy and highly charged song that is from their 1994 Smash Album, and it appears to be about someone who is conflicted about confronting their partner about how they really feel , but their self-esteem coupled with the feelings for their partner compel them to stay.
2)Gone Away: This song is from their 1997 Ixnay on the Hombre compilation. "Gone Away" appears to be about a person coming to terms with the ending and/or loss of someone that they cared very much about.
3) "I Want You Bad": This musical track is from their 2000 compilation titled "Conspiracy of One". "I Want You Bad" appears to be about someone admitting their attraction to another person, and directly describing some of the ways that they want them.

There are other well-known classics in this compilation as well such as "Gotta Get Away", "Pretty Fly For a White Guy", and "Come Out and Play". I strong endorse this greatest hits musical compilation by The Offspring for those who really like listening to 90's rock music.
