HASH(0xa747cea0) out of 5 stars No such thing as too much Joplin July 7 2014

next to Joplin's own renditions, I really like John Arpin. His style is precise and crisp. I have other performers' work, and they can be fun to listen to. As I write this, I'm listening to Itzhak Perlman and Andre Previn, and the edges of Previn's piano notes are somehow rounded, as is Perlman's violin. I'll listen again, and often, but when I want what is somehow more the real thing, it's Arpin.
