Science isn't exactly Maeve's favorite subject, but she's still excited to be going to the Sally Ride Science Festival at MIT with her hunky tutor, Matt. Sure, the BSG and her annoyingly brilliant younger brother are going as well, but it's still almost kind of a date, isn't it?
The festival gives the BSG a super idea -- an environmental science fair at Abigail Adams Junior High. But plans for a bubble gum factory nearby put Avery and Katani on opposite sides of an environmental issue -- and Avery finds herself in a bubble gum war with the Queens of Mean!
About the Author
The Beacon Street Girls books are inspired by all the preteen girls I've ever known. I wanted to create a world where girls can go to have fun and learn about who they are, while modeling real-life experiences. The first book, Worst Enemies/Best Friends, explores creating and testing friendships, skewed first impressions, and being the new kid at school. In the end, true friendship conquers all. Welcome to the world of the BSG!

This one rocks!!!!! i loved this one the most out of these: times up, green algae and bubble gum wars, crush alert. maeve is kind of weird in this one, though. she goes crazy for a college boy and expects him to fall in love with her. I find that odd. I like the Sally Ride Science Festival, and the best writing would probably come from the great side story of Scott Madden and Elena Maria falling in love. definitely a good book in the series!!

GREEN ALGAE AND BUBBLE GUM WARS is another great addition to the BSG series. It's a fun read with an eco chic twist. I can't wait for the next one. :)
