"Spectacular! I can only begin to imagine how many hours of dedication this must have taken to put together." -- Purchaser, January 2003

Book Description

From 1874 to 1876 William Greey was the flour inspector for the City of Toronto, County of York and the County of Peel in Ontario Canada. In 1876 he began to sell mill furnishings and was joined by his son John G.in 1877. The Wm. and J.G. Greey Mill Furnishings Firm was founded in Toronto, grew quickly and became well known across Canada and beyond.

Three catalogues illustrating 19th-century mill furnishings were published by the firm. The second was produced in 1888 (reproduced in this CD) and distributed as a standard book of reference for the grain milling trade. The third larger edition (also reproduced in this CD) was published in 1901.
