Book Description
Frank Denby and Groucho Marx arrive on the set of the new Ty-Gor film expecting to have Groucho do his humorous walk-on. What they find is the murdered body of Randy Spellman, the star of the film. It soon emerges that Spellman was a womanizer and a blackmailer, giving many people reason to dislike, or even kill, him. Ron Goulart is best known for writing about pop culture. Espically about comic books. However, with Groucho Marx as his celebrity detective he proves that he knows how to write a good light hearted murder mystery. This is saddly, so far, the last in the series. It is also one of the best in the series. The reason I only gave it 4 stars is because it still didn't top Groucho Marx and the Broadway Murders as that is the very best in the series.
