HASH(0xa225b3a8) out of 5 stars A must have guide to Guernsey for the first time traveler Jan. 27 2014
By Rolfe Jaremus - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback Verified Purchase
This was a tremendously useful guide to a first time visitor. I visited Guernsey in Sept of 2013 to see the place where my father toiled as a slave laborer during WWII (St. Saviour's Tunnel) and to visit the family that he befriended many years ago. This guide was most helpful in pointing out things to see and places to go that were not in the local tourist maps and guides. For example, I visited the 4000 year old Le De'hus Dolmen on the NE corner of the island. The local maps and bus maps didn't show it at all and I saw no local literature that mentioned it. So this little book was a great travelers aid.
