A great devotional to keep me focussed on the Word and others ahead of myself. This is a great book for pastors, especially those who are struggling with the weight of ministry. I was facing quite a few challenges and started using this book in my prayer time. It forced me to put the needs of the church and others first, and I notice that my prayer life changed dramatically (i.e. it became healthy once again).
If you are a liturgical church this book is also great preparation for the coming week's readings, and walks you through the church calendar. I've noticed that the seasons of a minister's life strangely coincide with the seasons of the Christian calendar (for me at least).
Definitely worth the purchase.

I love the way this devotional book is organized, according to the Litgurical Seasons of the Church Year. The scripture readings for each week, psalms, spiritual readings and prayers are meaningful and help give a structured approach to daily devotions. I have given this book as gifts as well.

This is a fantastic book and I ordered 2 copies as gifts for friends. The books were purchased new and were received in good condition, well packaged. The only problem was the delivery with it taking 3 weeks longer than other books purchased the same day from a different vendor but from the same country using the same mail system.
