Sadly, It looks like they don't have much information left to put in this series anymore. I was really disapointed with this one. I have from 2010 to this one, and this one is by far the worse of the four.

"FASCINATING AND FUN-FILLED WITH AWESOME IMAGES!" Dec 17 2012
By Geraldine Ahearn - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback
I purchased the 2012 edition for my daughter, who loves video games, and the 2013 edition is just as exciting and fascinating. This updated version includes new records, stunning illustrations, achievements, and much more. A fun-filled quiz is interesting, along with up-to-date news. In addition, this complete guide offers tips and helpful hints for games with intriguing information in the gaming world. My daughter also uses this book as a time-out from playing and achieving awards as a different fun diversion. She enjoys reading about new facts and her favorite characters. This book is the perfect gift for any occasion. Those who enjoy video games will love this book, which is the famous ultimate Gamer's guide!

huge hit with the gaming nephew Jan. 7 2013
By C. Dionne - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback Verified Purchase
My oldest nephew is a huge gaming nut but also loves any facts he can find about games. He's constantly telling me what year games were introduced, characters who are in multiple games and a wide variety of other facts. I've given him lots of gifts over the years and they've all been met with a ho hum attitude but this one was a home run! He actually sat down and started reading right away. I couldn't help myself, I even sat down and read through some of the facts and was heard to say "Did you know..." a few times.

Each 'record' is in large type and has interesting pictures that correlate to the game being discussed which I thought was very cool. It's perfect for young gamers who you want to get off the game system for a bit, maybe even encourage reading a bit more. I'm wishing now that I'd bought a copy for my son as well.

Guinness is Never Bad Jan. 15 2013
By Candace Strickler - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback Verified Purchase
This is a very well put together collection of all things gaming. It covers everything from Commodor 64 to modern day consoles. The layout is eye catching and familiar to Guinness fans. The facts are entertaining and sometimes, "ahemmm" educational in a Dr.Who / Pokeman sort of way.

One thing to note is that this volume does not feature the high quality HARD covering found on most other Guinness Volumes.
