Gullah Gullah is Great,

My 2-year old daughter is enchanted by the cast and characters of Gullah Gullah Island. We were sorry when the show disappeared from television and are glad to find videos here. My daughter and her 4-year-old-cousin agree on very few things, but both have Gullah Gullah at the top of their request list. The music, songs, and dance are very engaging. The characters are very appealing and have a certain sweetness that is not often in today's children's videos.

I accidentally saw the Gullah Gullah Island - Binyah series VHS tapes in Toys R Us years ago. When I noticed the African Americans on the cover I immediately bought them for my Granddaughter. She loved all of the VHS tapes, coloring books as well as sticker books that had anything to do with Binyah Binyah and the Daise family. I would like to say we watched the videos hundreds of hours for many years. I would like to find this series in DVD format if possible to give as gifts to friends of ours who are grandparents.
