5.0 out of 5 stars Exceeded expections Dec 19 2011
Format:Paperback
This book surpassed my expections. It is no exaggeration to say that it has revolutionized my life and the way I look at our modern way of life. Read it yourself and you will see what I mean. The book is a positive gold mine of information and medical wisdom radically at odds with our modern way of life, but scientifically sound and very common-sensical. I am about a month into the Introduction Diet and have found it a lifesaver! I have great hopes for this diet in the months and years to come, and am encouraging my whole family to read it as well.

5.0 out of 5 stars Rational hypothesis Sep 14 2011
By oregon
Format:Paperback
Finally, a theory that makes sense on increased cases of autism, dyslexia, ADHD, depression, schizophrenia and dyspraxia! It all relates to toxic overload -- poor eating, environmental toxins, anti-biotics, OTC & prescription drugs, birth control pills and vaccine damage the gut flora. With each generation, the gut flora gets worse until finally it is so bad that the child presents with one of the above disabilities. For anyone who is pregnant or for anyone who has a child or is afflicted with one of the above disabilitie this book is crucial reading. Diet and supplementation are keys to recovering health and the writer provides a plan for recovery together with recipes.

5.0 out of 5 stars Tasty, healing, not difficult and not expensive Jun 24 2012
Format:Paperback
I truly believe that this is one book that everyone should read. I have been following this diet for 14 days now and find it economical, easy to prepare, tasty and very healing.

Yes, it takes some learning and research:
* how to make fermented foods
* where to purchase organically produced meats
* where to buy organic vegetables
* where to source indicated the supplements (especially probiotics)

Once over this hump, the sailing is easy.
I find the food recommended very tasty and am surprised at the lashing out of N. Joy. But I can understand. Not everyone who follows the standard diet of potato chips, hot dogs and donuts will find pleasure in cooking and consuming fresh, nutritious food. I find her accusations shortsighted, shallow and unfounded - perhaps result of limited exposure to healthy foods and science that backs it up.

Of course the best proof is in the "pudding".
After several days of rather unpleasant symptoms related to detoxification, I am beginning to feel a difference.

I sincerely recommend this book to everyone suffering from ANY health problems. In fact I am planning to purchase one copy to each person on my Christmas shopping list. A gift of health (or at least health guidance) is what many in our sick and tired society will benefit from.
