A man has discovered that when it comes to listening, women are genetically superior.
Convinced that women inherently know how to listen and that men mistakenly think they know how to listen, Howard Binkow has written "Guys, Are We Really Listening"? to convince as many men as possible to become more effective listener.
From the Author
I thought I was a good listener and I was not. Improving my listening skills has led me to have everything I need in life.
My purpose in writing this book is to convince as many men as possible to become more effective listeners. And for future generations, my goal is to persuade our public school systems to offer courses in listening.
The only pre-requisite to becoming a more effective listener is a genuine interest in understanding another person's point of view, needs and feelings. Without that intent, this book will be a waste of your time.
With the help of friends, family, authors and teachers, I have attempted to condense in simple language what women instinctively know about listening and what little boys ought to have been taught in grade school.
With the possibility of improving your life and the lives of those around you, consider investing some of your valuable time to learn more about the art of understanding what is being communicated. You will then understand what it means to listen more effectively. At the very least, you will know when you are not listening.
I know it will take some time, but can you imagine what the world would be like if more of us guys really listened?
