What a great solution to the "listen to my iPod while in or under water" problem, and an affordable one at that.
I did read the instructions and I did, as instructed, do a test of the unit (with earphones) first. The case works like a charm. I'm especially amazed at how easily I'm able to use the controls on my Nano when it's in the case.
I'm using it to listen to audiobooks in the hot tub (!) but will also be using it in a swimming pool. I'm using the case with the Aquapac Waterproof, Submersible Headphones with In-the-Ear Design, 3.5mm plug, Depth to 30ft / 10m because I read they had better sound quality above water.
I love the case, love the armband, and love the whole experience.

Overall a decent product when used what it was designed to do. Just be sure to be gentle with it. I accidentally backed into the wall of the pool with the product clipped to my suit. It was enough to unlatch the case and thus drowned my iPod.

I use this to carry my pod while commuting by bike in the rain.
The case is excellent. It is a little big, but that is what it takes to provide protection. The volume dial can be a little finicky, but so is the pod's dial, so it really isn't the fault of the case.
The arm band ripped after one week of daily use. I called H2O, and they sent me a replacement, so I won't complain. The new arm band is better and worse in different ways, but still useable. The hook-n-loop strap that secures the pod into to case is way too long a pain to fasten down, but does get the job done.
Make sure you don't overtighten the arm band, and you may need to loosen it to take it on and off.
I use my own cheepo headphones with a right angle connector, and it is compatible with the rubber boot around the headphone plug.
